Somaye Khaksar received her PhD in Anthropology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, in December of 2022. Her dissertation centered on the efficiency of stone tools. Her current work as a postdoctoral research associate is focused on the Pleistocene stone tools, experimental archaeology, lithics function, and the role of technology in human evolution.
